everyone i ask says either democrats are more awesome or republicans are more awesome and that that is the difference. what is ur definition? just to be clear im neither democrat nor republican.
There is no difference !! Both are corrupt !! Both feather their own beds.. And,,each seek power and benefits..Look at America !! Do you think our system is working?? NOT FOR WE THE PEOPLE !! For the Politicians?? YOU BET !! Term limits,,no pensions or benefits and abolish lobbyist !! America doesn’t need career politicians..THEY are the problems..Them and their parties favor their interests FIRST..And ,,they get RICH in office,,and retire on the People’s DOLE,at taxpayers expense !! DO YOU get a paid pension with health benefits with a doctor on duty at all times to satisfy your every need?? Neither does any other American..But our politicians do..AND THEN,,guess who gives them raises periodically?? Why,,they do !! How sweet is that !! And by the way,,do you see any reason why ANY of them should get a raise,,or even be kept in office?? I don’t !! I by the way am an independent,,and am sick and tired of all of them and their nonsense !! And too,,ban lobbyist from Washington too,,and you might eliminate all the perks for favors,,from the companies who want legislation their way !! LION HOUSE

How do democrats fortify their position of power right now?
After winning in November we can see that democrats have a wave of support behind them. Winning all three House of Reps, Senate, and White house. So now the question falls onto the democrats laps how do they expand their sphere of influence and build a coalition that can allow them to keep winning? What exactly do they need to do to keep the demographic trends in their favor? Also could it be possible that Democrats could claim a generation if they succeed?
If you can’t do anything to turn this economy around or do anything but dole out more handouts, your not going to hold on. You can’t spend your way to solvency and this government will more than likely have to learn this the hard way.
Has the democrats effectively fought as hard as the republicans to get their candidate nominated?
do you feel that the democrats have advocated a strategy of giving up? do you feel that obama really knows that he maybe giving the impression being a weak campaigner? does he really think that being "nice" will win this election? being a celebrity works on reality tv, but in politics, its survival of the most brilliant, the most cunning, even the most cynical. sen obama has a real chance of winning this election, but unless he gives up the notion of niceness, the election could truly slip from within his grasp.
The democrats are worried shitless about Sarah Palin and have resorted to lying about her as they continue to lie about McCain. You guys call him McSame because he voted with Bush 90% of the time. Are you aware that Joe Biden voted with Bush 89% of the time.
How many times has Obama voted against the party (I mean when he is actually voting) ? How many times has McCain voted against his party ?
Why do you think that McCain, initially was not able to attract the conservatives ? Could it be that he voted for what he believed in regardless of which party presented it ? Didn’t McCain and Ted Kennedy co-sponsor the Immigration Reform Bill ? Didn’t McCain reach across the aisle and work with Feingold on Campaign reform ?
The more Obama opens his mouth, the more he puts his foot into it and he has to many ties to terrorists and crooks such as Rezko and William Ayers and you probably don’t know that Biden has ties to Rezko either and that both of Biden’s sons are being investigated for fraud. This is pretty serious since Joe Biden Jr is the Attorney General of Delaware
